Zane is an absolute delight, I really think he has spoiled it for any future little blessings! He loves loves loves people, in fact, he *assumes* everyone we see in public is there to see him and say hello - he looks around and oohhhs and uuuggghhhhs until someone will look and smile at him (which they always do). We don't head back to the pediatrician until 9 months but I can tell you he is BIG - he is completely in 12 month clothes and nearly busting out of some of the smaller brands. It is very strange how different the sizes can run in kid's clothes but I suppose not so because it's the same with adults too. Zane is just so TALL torso-wise. The 12 month snaps barely fit and I hate to squeeze either end! At his 6 mth appointment he was 20 lbs even and while he has definitely grown in height we weighed him the other day and got roughly 22 lbs. I have to admit though, I am not all that ready for him to become mobile!!!!
I am heading back to work Monday and am really looking forward to it. It is only part time so I hope it will give us a good balance where I don't feel like I am missing things too much. Time will tell.

favorite toy of the moment - the farm. He really likes taking all the pieces out and putting them back in. He totally cracks up at animal noises, especially sheep (baaaaaaa) for some reason!
